Starting Phrases

The examples show the use of various basic grammar.

May I make some pottery?
なにか やきもの を つくって もいい です か。
nanika yakimono o tsukutte mo ii desu ka?

I don’t know what kind of pottery to make.
どんな　とうげいを　つくる か　わかりません。
donna tougei o tsukuru ka wakarimasen.

Please show me how to make pottery.
やきもの の つくりかた を みせて ください。
yakimono no tsukurikata o misete kudasai.

マグカップ を つくって みます。
mugkappu o tsukutte mimasu.

If it’s OK, can I use the pottery wheel?
もし だいじょうぶ だったら ろくろ を つかえますか。
moshi daijoubu dattara rokuro o tsukaemasuka.

I don’t know how to use the pottery wheel.
ろくろ を　どう　つかう を　わかりません。
rokuro o dou tsukau o wakarimasen.
ろくろ　の　つかい　かた　が　わかりません。
rokuro no tsukai kata ga wakarimasen.

Can I make a teapot?
わたし　は　ティーポット を つくる　こと が できます か。
ti-potto o tsukuru koto ga dekimasu ka.

Have you made a teapot before?
ティーポット を 　つくった こと が　 ありますか。
ti-potto o tsukutta koto ga arimasu ka.

I have omitted to show Kanji. This will cause problems if you use machine translation.
